Domestic investigations range in cost depending on the complexity and amount of information required. In our agreement, you can set your limit on what you will spend on your investigation.


We typically work from a retainer fee provided by the Client or Attorney ranging between $ 250.00 and $ 1000.00 in a certified check or money order. The amount of the retainer required depends on how much evidence you will need. For Example: More evidence is required for the court room to determine the truth than is for you to know what's happening. The Agent finances the investigation from the retainer fee and provides the client with an update with every report.


IF YOU ARE GOING AHEAD HERE ARE THE STEPS:


STEP 1: Gather the information that we need for your appointment. That should include the following:

  • Your secure contact information - cell phone number etc.
  • Subject's name and address with photo
  • Subject's SS#, age, race, height, weight, hair color and style, scars, tattoos, glasses Y/N
  • Subject's work address, bosses name, subject's work hours, days off, break times.
  • Subject's friend's, names, addresses, what they might do with the subject.
  • Subject's vehicle information such as, tag number make of vehicles, photos if possible.
  • Subject's habits and places where he/she might be found - restaurants - fitness clubs...
  • Children activities that the subject attends and the locations.
  • Subject's recent cell phone records, visa records, habit changes.
  • Name and address of possible third party - description if known.
  • The retainer fee in a certified check or money order.

STEP 2: Call James Petrie at (919) 795-8910 and make an appointment.


STEP 3: You will arrive at 315N Academy Street, Suite 200, Cary, NC 27513 and go to the second floor taking a left at the top of the stairs. James will have the door open for your arrival. James will discuss your needs and implement a plan for getting the information that you need. You will be provided with an agreement on how the Agency provides service and upon your approval the investigation will be opened. Action on your case will start within a few days or in some cases immediately.


We can also provide you with a complete background on the third party to aid you in a lawsuit against that person.
